If you are a busy professional — this is for you.
I help students find their own path to proficiency — through a direct, effective, thoughtfully designed curriculum. From day-one beginners to amateur competitors.
You don't have to be in shape to start. Your training will build cardio, strength, flexibility, and mobility — you'll learn to move well, lower your risk of injury, and train in a way your body can sustain.
Sabai — Thai for a state of ease. Composure is the root of power.
My mission is to bring it to those who need it — and to give my absolute best, every session. Passion, discipline, and community carry a student further than talent alone.
The art passes teacher to student, generation to generation. This is the line standing behind your training — and where you step into it.
The Korean art where I earned my black belt under Mark Marcello — 3rd Dan Jidokwan Black Belt and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt under Joao Paulo Faria. It taught me timing theory, counter-fighting, subtle angles, and meditation — the foundations everything else is built on.
Dutch Kickboxing and Muay Thai became my focus. I trained under Kru Alex Palma — Muay Thai Authority's 2013 North American Trainer of the Year and head coach to two-time GLORY World Champion Tiffany Van Soest, the promotion's first-ever female champion. I also trained under Kru Carl Gebhardt, today the striking coach for UFC Hall of Famer Dominick Cruz.
I teach out of The Training Center in Pacific Beach, training alongside UFC legend Chris Leben and ADCC Hall of Famer Baret Yoshida. I also frequently guest-teach at gyms around San Diego.
I've been working with Coach Elliot for my MMA title fight, and he has taken my kickboxing skills to the next level. I'm ten times better than I was when I won my first belt.
I took the 9am boxing class with Coach Elliot and had a great workout… I really appreciated his patience and commitment, especially with me being such a beginner. Had fun and I will definitely return. I think all women should take boxing and kickboxing classes.
You've ignited a lifelong passion for martial arts in me. I really don't think I could've gotten into it without your coaching — I've absolutely fallen in love with the sport.
Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning… Elliot is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and patient — explaining everything clearly and guiding me every step of the way. I left feeling inspired, confident, and grateful.
I feel like I'm learning a lot really fast and it feels good — especially only going once a week. I'm excited to see what I've got a year from now. Your coaching has been elite.
Every class I attended, I learned something new. I'm truly grateful for your time and dedication. If you're in San Diego and looking for an amazing coach, go train with Coach Elliot.
I've never done any kind of boxing but attended with my husband, who's done it for years. The instructor was so nice and patient. It's HARD! But I really appreciated how nice and accommodating everyone was.
Such a fun class! I hadn't taken a boxing class in years and Coach Elliot was very patient with my uncoordinated self… I had such a great time that the hour flew by. I'll definitely be back — a solid 10!
The instructor was great — class was very informative and fun.
